Golden Syrup

Golden Syrup is a golden brown thick syrup derived from natural raw cane sugar and is free of any additives. A formulated balance of sucrose, fructose and glucose syrup, combined with the desired mineral content, gives the characteristic flavour of this concentrated syrup. The specific blend of these natural ingredients enables Golden Syrup to remain in the liquid phase as a high density syrup.


Treacle

Treacle is a dark, thick, strongly flavoured syrup derived from natural raw cane sugar and is free of any additives. Treacle, like Golden Syrup, is formulated to give a balance of sucrose, glucose and fructose sugars and a desired mineral content. The mineral content of treacle is higher than Golden Syrup, which contributes to the more intense flavour and tartness of treacle.


Invert Sugar

Invert Syrup is a specially manufactured blend of glucose and fructose prepared by hydrolysing high purity cane sugar (sucrose) syrup. This process is commonly known as inversion and is achieved by adding acid to liquid sugar. As inversion reaches completion, the syrup is neutralised. Another term for these sugars is 'reducing sugars', which describes the chemical property relating specifically to monosaccharides.

Food Grade Molasses

Food Grade Molasses is a food grade refinery molasses designed for use in Food and Beverage industrial applications. It is a brown to dark brown sugar syrup of characteristic flavour and has been filtered and heat treated and evaporated under vacuum to ensure its food grade suitability and compliance with the Australian/New Zealand Food Standards Code.
